Teachers Desk

As a teacher you will need to have space for grading, lesson planning, or sometimes to just take a breather. A teachers desk or station is very important to have in my ideal classroom as it will be my personal area. My desk will have a clear view of my student to make sure they are safe.

Classroom Library

Literature is a very important part of a child's education. Teachers can help their students become better readers by creating a space where they can read for relaxation, support independent reading, and expose them to a variety of genres, subjects, and experiences. Kids can independently look the book bins and shelves. Let them expolore!

Small Group

Having a small group table is very useful for both students and Teachers. Smaller groups can easily provide students with the one-on-one attention they require, as teachers you can watch as they learn, and offer helpful feedback.

Class Carpet

The classroom carpet is the center of the classroom. This is where all the instructional learning happens! Kids get to participate as a group and socialize with others. This will also help young students see that they are part of a community and that their choices can impact others.

Front of the Room

Students face the front of the class for the majority of the day. . This is a great place to write important information about your classroom, big goal, important dates and your classroom rules. This is also a great place to hang the alphabet and number lines, this will be of great help to the students. Also, make sure you have a comfortable chair you can use while instructing.
