Henry Ford
Henry Ford was born on July 30th, 1863 in Wayne county Michigan. He was most noted for his invention of the Ford Model T in 1908. He also revolutionized the assembly process for the automotive industry by developing the assembly line mode of production.
Henry Ford was quoted saying “Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right.” The meaning of this quote is about putting your mind to something. It is stating that if you hold a positive attitude when trying to accomplish something then you will be able to do it. Conversely if you are being pessimistic and doubting yourself then you are more likely to fail.
This quote is personified in his own life starting from an early age. When he was given a pocket watch at an early age the first thing he did was disassemble and then reassemble it. Also, when he left home at 16 to become an apprentice machinist. Mostly this is shown by his creation of the ford motor company in 1903. During his life he believed he could do all these things and through arduous work he accomplished his goals.
This shows in my life in a few ways, for example when I am trying to accomplish a difficult task on a short time frame I keep a positive outlook and am normally able to meet deadlines. When at work I was tasked to complete a challenging task and by keeping an optimistic outlook on things I could complete it ahead of time.
