In our first podcast episode we interviewed Scott Eakin, the son of the founder of the shop and the current owner of Randy's Automotive. Since this was our first interview using all of the new equipment, technology was a major obstacle. It took some time for us to get the microphones connected to the recorder, but once we figured it out, everything ran smoothly. This experience provided us insight into what we can do to prepare better for our next interview. In the future, we want to spend more time researching the company beforehand to formulate specific questions catered to the business. Whilst there were some challenges, this was a great learning opportunity for us, and we will apply what we learned to improve future interviews!

In our second podcast episode, we met with David from Medfield Barber Shop. He told us all about his journey to the US from Uganda, adjusting to life in a new country, and eventually owning and operating his own barber shop. He discussed how he decided to become a barber, how it's going, and what his goals for the future are. This interview went significantly better as our flow of conversation developed. We spent more time preparing questions, and our raw audio clip went from 10 minutes in the first episode to 42 minutes with David! This episode is incredibly inspiring, and we hope everyone takes a listen once it is released. Due to scheduling conflicts, we did not have time to edit David's interview, but we are planning on editing it on Monday and releasing it sometime next week!
