Sample collection at CIPP site
NASSCO Phase 2: Environmental Impact of Steam Cured CIPP Technology
In December 2019, we wrapped up a study investigating the environmental impacts of emissions from steam cured, cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) on workers and the surrounding community. In the project we collected air samples across nine sites, which spanned across different geographies. Based on the results of the study, some recommendations were made for increasing safety on steam cured CIPP sites. See Final Report for more details.
NASSCO Phase 3: Advanced Styrene Emissions Study of CIPP Pollutant Sources
The goal of this study is to better understand CIPP emissions associated with the storage of uncured liners prior to liner installation. Project is currently underway.
