Your robot is your meArm. It will be controlled by your Raspberry Pi and your software.
Modifications to the robot are not allowed with two exceptions:
You can modify the claw to attach a mechanism fluid aspiration and dispensing. The width and length of claw need to remain.
You can add screws the the existing holes in the baseplate but they can not protrude more than 10mm. The end of the screws can be polished or pointy to increase or reduce friction. No weights can be added to the robot. The raspberry pi can not be attached to your robot.
The field consists of up to three locations for the meArms. The location of the meArms is the teams choice.
The field will need to acomodate 4 containers to hold fluids.
Water
Buckets
The referees will add 10 cc of fluid to each of the containers with exception of the first container which will be continously filled and the last container that will be empty at the beginning of the game.
The sscore is composed of the sum of:
3 x (volume [cc] bucket_4 / 10 cc) x [distance [cm] between 3rd and 4th bucket / 15cm]
2 x (volume [cc] bucket_3 / 10 cc) x [distance [cm] between 2nd and 3rd bucket / 15cm]
1 x (volume [cc] bucket_2 / 10 cc) x [distance [cm] between 1st and 2nd bucket / 15cm]
At any time during the lab of the remaining semester and before last week of class, a team can call for a match.
During competition (last lecture day) the top 10 scoresrs will compete for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and runner up place.
The team establishes their player positions. The referee will start the game.
