The game objective is to pop balloons of the opposing team using a robot.
You will score by:
Popping a balloon of the opposing team before time runs out.
Keeping your own balloons intact.
Being able to operate your robot.
Finish the game early.
Your team is typically an alliance of up to 3 players. Your robot is your meArm. You will need to modify it to include two game pieces:
pin needle (A)
balloon (B)
shield (C)
The pin needle of each player will be disabled once the players balloon popped.
There will be one extra needle available for each team. This needle will not be disabled when balloons pop.
Game:
Each round starts with the players opposing each other. Each player has a balloon and a pin needle attached to the claw of the robot arm. The players can attempt to pop any balloon. Each team's un-popped balloons count towards them. Each popped balloon of the opposing team counts towards them.

The shield width or height is either 50 or 200 mm. These numbers are measured along the center profile of the shield. The pedestal shall not exceed 100x100x30mm
At any time during the lab of the remaining semester and before last week of class, a team can call for a match. If an opposing team agrees to play, the score will be recorded. The top ranking 3 teams are automatically qualified for the finals.

Monday during last week of classes the remaining teams can compete for the 4th spot on the finals.
During competition (last lecture day) the 4 teams will compete for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and runner up place.
Lottery will determine which teams play each other for the first round (2 games).
The two loosing teams of the first round will compete for a second round (1 game).
The two winners of the first round will compete for winner round (1 game).
The loosing team of the winner round will play against the winning team of the second round, competing for second place (1 game). The loosing team earns third place.
