The Bilingual Phonology Lab Receives R01 Award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute on Deafness and other Communication Disorders (NIDCD)
The Bilingual Phonology Lab was awarded a 2.5 million dollar R01 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in July 2018. This grant funds research in reducing health disparities in bilingual children with and without communication disorders. This 5-year project will develop an evidence based procedure for bilingual children suspected of having speech sound disorders. We are thankful for the partnership with the Sunnyside Unified School District and the children in these programs.
