Elysian's Learner Profile
Based off of community, faculty, student and stakeholder responses, Elysian will work towards supporting students in the area of Independent Thinking, upon completing their education within our building. The ways this will be done is as followed:
Creating a curriculum that encourages and incorporates project-based learning, hands-on activities, and group discussions that require students to think creatively and independently.
Providing opportunities for students to explore their interests and passions through elective courses, extracurricular activities, and internships. This will allow students to develop their own unique perspectives and ideas.
Encouraging students to question and challenge the status quo, and to think outside the box. This will involve fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and open-mindedness within the school community.
Emphasizing the development of soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability, which are essential for success in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. This will help students become confident and self-reliant individuals who are equipped to thrive in any situation.
Elysian school's focus on supporting students in Independent Thinking will empower them to become lifelong learners and leaders who are capable of making a positive impact on their community and the world.
