Communication Skills

Based off of community, faculty, student and stakeholder responses, Elysian will work towards supporting students in the area of Communication Skills upon completing their education within our building. The ways this will be done is as followed:

• Offering extracurricular activities such as drama club and the Student Lighthouse club to provide students with additional opportunities to practice and improve their communication skills.

• Providing workshops and seminars on effective communication techniques and strategies for students to attend.

• Incorporating communication skills assessments and evaluations into the regular academic curriculum to track student progress and provide targeted support as needed.

• Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to create a supportive environment that values and prioritizes strong communication skills.

• Providing opportunities for students to engage in real-world communication scenarios, such as community service projects, and leadership roles within the school.

• Encouraging students to actively participate in class discussions, presentations, and group projects to enhance their communication abilities.
