Open enrollment is designed to provide students with every opportunity to reach their highest potential. Any 8th grade student can, in theory, select an accelerated level course(s) in the areas of math and/or science. Common Core Algebra I and Earth science, respectively.

Please keep in mind that these courses require more in depth work and greater effort, organization and planning on the part of your child. The grades he or she receives for accelerated courses will appear on their high school transcript for colleges.
