AP Mobile Computer Science Principles (0869) Credit 1.0

AP Computer Science Principles (AP CSP) is a full year course in which students are exposed to the 7 big ideas of computer science. This course is project-based and emphasizes writing, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Students create socially useful mobile apps for Android devices using MIT App Inventor.

Students may receive college credit based on performance on the AP Exam. No prior computer programming experience is needed, but prior participation in a computer science class is highly recommended. AP test fee paid by students.
