Ohio Improvement Process (OIP)

The Ohio Improvement Process (OIP) is the continuous improvement model used by East Liverpool City Schools (ELCSD) to align district goals, instructional strategies, and student outcomes.
This model guides how we structure team collaboration, analyze data, and drive instructional improvement across the district.

Through the OIP framework, ELCSD aims to:

The OIP is directly aligned to our district’s One Plan, which serves as the unified roadmap for instructional, operational, and student-focused improvement.
The One Plan integrates academic goals, accountability metrics, and support systems to streamline our efforts under one comprehensive strategy.

All teams—District Leadership Team (DLT), Building Leadership Teams (BLTs), and Teacher-Based Teams (TBTs)—play a critical role in executing the OIP and supporting the goals outlined in the One Plan.

The OIP provides a structured framework for continuous school improvement through collaboration at every level.
These teams drive effective instructional practices and student achievement.
