WSD Sectional Competition

Held at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, DECA chapters in the west suburbs compete to determine who advances to the state competition. At this one day event, students will compete against students from the western suburbs of Chicago in their event area. The top 10 students (or teams) in each event advance to the state competition. This event is held during the school day typically at the end of January.

IL DECA State Competition

Held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, DECA chapters across the state of Illinois compete to determine who advances to the national competition. This three day event, Thursday afternoon - Saturday morning, includes many activities (banquet, games, and entertainment) in addition to the competition. This event is typically held at the beginning of March.

ICDC National Competition
