Pickleball program isn’t just about the game itself; it embodies a fundamental principle underlying sportsmanship worldwide, as epitomized by the founder of the modern Olympic Games: “The essence of pickleball isn’t solely about winning, but rather about engaging fully in the game, much like the spirit of the Olympics. Victory is not the ultimate goal; rather, it’s about embracing the challenges and giving your best effort on the court. Success lies not in conquering opponents, but in playing with determination and skill.”
In our after-school pickleball program, we instill this maxim into the everyday experiences of our students on the court. While winning is gratifying, simply participating and contributing to the team are paramount in Pickleball Pursuits.

Pride. Confidence. Respect. Responsibility. They’re all values almost every parent wants to instill in their children, and Euro School of Tennis is ready to help with our after school tennis program. We offer youngsters a chance to learn a sport that has so much to teach!
Tennis excellence at your school playground – We play with modified equipment (18 ft portable net) to ensure they learn at their level. We provide all equipment: smaller rackets as well as low compression red balls to help your child learn the fundamentals. Our instructors take tennis pretty seriously. We work with our students both on and off the court to help infuse the importance of hard work, responsibility, and success as well as failure into everything we do.
The Court of Life – Unlike many other sports, tennis has some takeaways others cannot touch. Physically, students gain a level of endurance and coordination that carries over to other sports and daily activities. Mentally though, they learn about self discipline, integrity, and honesty in a very different classroom. If you want Euro School of Tennis to help your child get excited about a new sport, sign up today!

“The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well.” - Baron de Coubertin
This creed guides the modern Olympic games and it is the foundation of our Olympic Hopes after school program, giving kids a chance to do so much more than simply learn a new sport.
Sportsmanship and Teamwork: Olympic Hopes was designed to teach kids that walking on the field is the first step in any journey. Participating, learning key teamwork skills, and working hard are what matter most in any setting and by framing our program with the Olympic Creed, our students have the opportunity to learn the true meaning behind sport of any kind.
A Fun Environment: In this after school program, fun is a priority. Using modified equipment, kids get a chance to learn at their level. On the field, you’ll see endurance and coordination, as well as development of some basic athletic skills. Off the field, you’ll see self discipline, integrity, and honesty in a way you never thought possible. Sports help your kids learn so much more about themselves. Starting early means a chance to build healthy principles in those after school hours.

Description: This semester in Lando's Math Tycoon class, students step into the role of park designers and business owners, building and managing a new theme park each week, from water parks to space parks to safari adventures. Every math problem they solve invites customers, unlocks attractions, and grows their park, so practice always has a purpose behind it. Worksheets align with Common Core standards and adapt by grade level, covering everything from counting and place value to fractions, multi-digit operations, and coordinate planes, with students working at their own pace as valued contributors to a shared park. Each class builds toward a collaborative construction goal that unlocks a themed math mini game, reinforcing that week's skills through play.

Description: The Yes For Chess after school enrichment program uses chess to teach kids creative problem solving and critical thinking, in a fun and stimulating setting. We work with all skill levels, even for students with no chess experience. With the idea that children will learn chess if they are having fun, we recruit instructors that are great with kids and have a background in chess, instead of the stereotypical chess professional who struggles to connect with a classroom of children. Our approach is a refreshing alternative to the sometimes overly competitive world of scholastic chess.

We are actively looking for cleared parent volunteers who can help TK/K students transition from their classrooms to their after school programs. Please contact Claudia at claudia.estrada@sesd.org if you're able to help.
All Grade 1-5 students will need to transition by themselves to their after school programs upon dismissal (Mon-Thurs 2:30 p.m., Fri grades 1-3 12:45 p.m., grades 4-5 2:30 p.m.). All After School Program instructors will be present to facilitate check-in with the students. Please make sure you communicate with your students in a timely manner about their classes.
If your student goes to CYW/KLAS, please inform CYW/KLAS what days your student will attend an after school program. Please make sure that the after school program knows that your student needs to be dropped off at their aftercare upon completion of the class.
With the exception of Friday basketball, parents are to pick up their children directly from their after school program. For Friday basketball, the instructor will walk students to the gate near the front office upon dismissal and will be released to their guardian or caretaker.
Please don’t sign up if your students cannot be picked up on time. The coaches/instructors need to leave promptly after they finish the classes.
If a student was absent at school due to health concerns, then he/she is not able to attend the after school program.
Classes will happen rain or shine.
All scholarships for the Spring session have been already awarded, and the families have been notified.
