American Presidency Project- the core of the APP document collection is based on published collections of presidential documents.

Chronicling America-  is a website providing access to information about historic newspapers. Searchable database of U.S. newspapers with descriptive information and select digitization of historic pages. 

FBI Vault- The Vault is FOIA Library, containing 6,700 documents and other media that have been scanned from paper into digital copies.

Minnesota Digital Newspaper Hub- Minnesota Historical Society historical newspaper archive.

National Archives- the U.S. Government's collection of documents that records important events in American history 

National Archives Presidential Archives- archives and museums, bringing together the documents and artifacts of a President.

NYPL Digital Collection- living database with new materials added every day, featuring prints, photographs, maps, manuscripts, streaming video, and more. 

ProQuest- Black Freedom Struggle- Primary sources by subject
