Ellingham Explorers is our in-house wraparound care provision with its own dedicated area for all children from Reception through to Year 6. The club is run by school staff who are experienced and DBS cleared. We provide high quality stimulating activities in a safe and secure environment.
All sessions must be pre-booked and paid for via Parentpay or with Childcare Vouchers by contacting the Manager - Jayne Eite via explorer@elp.rbksch.org. If you would like to register for your child to attend when they start Reception, please click on the link below and complete the registration form. Our breakfast club runs in the small hall. Children are offered a range of cereal, toast and crumpets, fruit, yogurts and drinks.
A variety of indoor and outdoor activities are provided ranging from reading, drawing, games, construction, team games and the use of our trim trail. Children are encouraged to be independent.
The session runs from 7.30 am Monday – Friday and costs £6.50 per session.
Our thoughtfully planned provision includes crafts based around a theme or cultural celebration such as Diwali or Christmas . Role play / small world and construction / Lego, puzzles, games, and access to IT. They have access to outdoor play, a quiet area for reading and relaxation, as well as opportunities to socialise with other children.
Children are provided with a light snack at around 4.30pm, when other school clubs have finished. The snack menu includes food such as baked beans on toast or soup with bread and butter. Children eat together and meals times are very sociable.
Afterschool Club sessions run from:
3.05pm (Reception & KS1 ) /3.15pm (KS2) - 4.30pm £7.50

3.05pm (Reception & KS1 ) /3.15pm (KS2) - 6.00pm £15.00
