The volunteer fire service affords citizens a unique and tangible opportunity to give back to their community.
Get trained and educated for free. Professional training opportunities and equipment are paid for by the department. Members can obtain nationally recognized certifications and training for free; certain classes can even count as college credit.
Give back on your schedule. Our members work a variety of schedules including shift schedules and daily 8-hour workdays. The department has flexible opportunities to fit any schedule.
Give back however you can. We are constantly looking for talented and qualified members to contribute in operational and administrative roles. If you are a professional, student, or retiree, you can help!
Scholarships, annual tax credits, and a generous annual stipend are available for members after set lengths of service. Members receive life insurance and free physicals from the beginning of their service.
Station amenities include Wi-Fi, desktop computers, and gym, locker, and shower facilities.
