If you are using Zoom on a regular basis, you will need to periodically check for new feature and updates to prevent disruption in your Zoom sessions and instances.
How to check your current version of Zoom and get updates
Desktop Client - Check your current version
Sign in to the Zoom Desktop Client (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
Click your profile picture, then Help, and lastly About Zoom. You will see the Zoom Desktop Client version.
If no updates are needed, you will see this message below.
Mobile app - Check your current version
Open the Zoom app.
Click the Settings (gear) icon.
Tap About Zoom. You will see the Zoom app version.
Update / Upgrade to the latest version of Zoom
Desktop Client - Update Latest Version
Mobile app - Update Latest Version
Apple iOS devices
iOS 14 and 13
Open the App Store.
Tap your profile icon at the top right of the screen.
Scroll down to see pending updates. Tap 'Update' next to the Zoom app to update it.
iOS 12 or older
Open the App Store.
Tap 'Updates' at the bottom of the screen.
Android devices
Open the Google Play app.
Tap the menu icon, then 'My apps & games'.
Tap 'Update' on the 'ZOOM Cloud Meetings' app.
