Engines/Automotives

Engines/Automotives are an essential part of any tech ed program. We will be working on three basic things. First, we will be identifying and understanding the parts of a basic four-stroke engine. Second, we will learn and demonstrate how four-stroke engines work. Finally, we will be going over basic engine maintenance on a lawnmower engine like changing the oil, changing/gapping a spark plug, changing an air filter, etc. The goal is to familiarize students with engines, introduce them to opportunities at EAHS and teach them some basic maintenance skills on something most of them will own and use someday, a lawnmower.
