Tech Ed Level Two is a class that is all about following the design process to create things that solve problems while meeting design criteria. Level Two is divided into three units (Fabrication-Digital and Wood, and Automotive/Engines). Our learning standards remain Precision Measurement (standard/metric), using the Design Process to solve problems, and Career/Course Exploration that ties into the areas we cover. While students will be working on different projects they will also be expected to have a higher level of independence after learning the flow of the class last year.
Student Assignments:
Students will be using Google Classroom DAILY. If the pandemic taught us anything, we learned how important it is for students to have access to their work wherever they can get online. Our Google Classroom also has a LEARNING MAP that is updated weekly to let students know what we will be working on each day. While it is subject to change, it is always very close. 95+% of the student's work will be submitted digitally through Google Classroom, so if they can get to Google they can get to their work.
