Accountable for oversight of all processes related to the provision of student support services to access instruction, Board Member of The Center for Community Justice and The Northern Indiana Hispanic Health Coalition. Responsible for assuring excellence in:

  • Coordination and Support of Equity and Intercultural Relations
  • Coordination of Alternative Education
  • Development and Support of Medical Services
  • Facilitate Compliance with Bully Prevention
  • Monitor and Support Special Education Services
  • Development and Support of Social Work Services
  • Establish and Implement Mental Health Support Systems with Partner Programs
  • Serve as District Liaison for Homeless Students/ McKinney-Vento
  • Coordination of Internal and External Student Transfers
  • Monitor and Support Student Attendance
  • Maintain Student Records
  • Serve as Educational Liaison to Systems of Care, Child Fatality Team, Magistrate's Round-table, School/Justice Partnership, and the Child Protection Team

Philip K. Lederach, Director of Secondary Instruction

  • Examine, oversee, and implement all secondary programs
  • Develop and implement career academies and pathways for secondary
  • Avail all students the wide range of opportunities ECS provides
  • Provide experiences and exposure to all students so they may understand who they are, what their strengths are, what career and postsecondary goals they strive to achieve, and implement supports for all secondary students throughout this process
  • Develop and implement a structure for all students to engage in personal, educational, and career oriented paths so they may make choices that are insightful for their futures and become intentional in their decisions
  • Research and develop sound and innovative programming for all ECS students

Beth A Williams, Director

Accountable for oversight of all processes related to the application, management, and compliance reports of federal grants; Coordinator of ESL program. Responsible for assuring excellence in:

  • Coordination and implementation of high quality programming at Title I funded schools
  • Development and implementation of high quality programming for English learners
  • Oversight of 21st Century Communitiy Learning Center
  • Process review of professional development requests
  • Management of grants to assure dollars are spent in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Wes Molyneaux, Director of Technology Integration

Accountable for oversight of all processes related to the development of technology initiatives, 1:1 programs, innovative teaching initiatives and professional development. Responsible for assuring excellence in:

  • Strategic development of staff Professional development aligned to district goals
  • Development and implementation of district 1:1 initiative
  • Develop innovative teaching strategies to increase students engagement and achievement
  • Professional development related to the implementation of the certified evaluation system

Tara White, Director of Literacy and Media Services

Accountable for the oversight and all processes and programs related to libraries, media services, digital resources and technology integration. Responsible for assuring excellence in:

  • Direction and coordination all programming, policies, and services for school libraries and elementary technology instruction to meet the various needs of our learning community
  • Allocation of corporation resources, creation of engaging learning environments, and connection for the school community to helpful and ubiquitous resources, information, and services
  • Provide leadership in integration of technology and information literacy for staff and students
  • Manage budgets, staffing, collection development, promotion, and best practices in the use of library/media spaces

Natalie Bickel, Supervisor of Student Services/Attendance Officer

Accountable for oversight of processes related to student support services and attendance, Board Member of Ryan's Place. Responsible for assuring excellence in:

  • Providing leadership and assistance to district attendance secretaries and administrators in planning and executing activities related to the school's/county's attendance procedures and requirements.
  • Coordinating with school principals, teachers, guidance counselors, school nurses, child study team members and county systems, regarding students who are absent or tardy frequently.
  • Coordinating all internal and external transfers for the school district
  • Serving as a liaison among schools, parents, courts and agencies as well as with staff
  • Providing liaison services between the school administration and risk assessment providers

Krista Hennings, District Graduation Facilitator

  • Facilitating system-wide student development on closing the graduation gap while enhancing student achievement.
  • Assisting in development of strategies to address disproportion that exists in suspensions, expulsions, and dropouts for various student populations.
  • Working with student, parents and community groups to foster an understanding and development of plans for addressing issues, which directly affect student achievement.
  • Working with students and parents to foster an understanding of the importance of high school graduation.
