SMALL TOWN, BIG HEART - MONTH OF SERVICE
GRO Eldon and PAVE AmeriCorps are hosting the 2nd annual Small Town Big Heart Month of Service. Eldon is blessed with teams, churches, businesses, programs, families, and individuals who constantly give back to one another. We're not asking anyone to do much more than they already do, rather to celebrate all the hearts for service that already exist in Eldon. The one thing we ARE asking of groups and individuals is, if they complete any service in February, to drop by the "Small Town, Big Heart" mural at North and Maple to take a picture and then send us their picture and their STORY OF SERVICE. We will share these stories and photos throughout the month under the #GROSmallTownBigHeart title.

Launched in 2016, the Growth in the Rural Ozarks program was created by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and Innovation Economy Partners to help small rural towns in Missouri achieve communal economic prosperity. Eldon joined in the spring of 2020 with the goal of capitalizing on all the exceptional opportunities Eldon already has to offer and building on those to make Eldon an even better place to live, work, and play.
