Love Bags

Did you know foster children often use trash bags to carry their belongings?

The First Baptist Church of Eldon Youth Group is working to develop a modest warehouse of Love Bags filled with items to support children in the Eldon area who are going through this very experience. As children come into foster care, they are often not able to bring their personal belongings with them. This can only add to the trauma that they are experiencing. The Love Bag Project hosted by the FBC Youth Group will provide these children with a bag to eliminate the trash bags! In addition, the project will provide each child with some small comforts, meet some basic needs, and give them something to call their own.

Items can be donated at the First Baptist Church or at Brew Brothers throughout the month of February.
