Using Square for accepting tickets payment

Ekal DOES NOT recommend using Square for taking donations, donor is advised to use website or mobile site, at https://www.ekal.org/us/donate

The Square setup was used last year during the events. We noticed that unless we capture the below information before the swipe of the card, it would be extremely difficult to reconcile between the transaction report provided by square up and the list of Credit card transactions that we would provide to Ekal-Houston office.

Mandatory information before we swipe the card:

1. Donor’s Name

2. Address on the credit card

3. Phone #

4. Email id

5. CARD TYPE (VISA, MC, AMEX etc.,)

6. Last 4 digits of the card

Download this template, and capture data according. The Square transaction report does not provide the donor name or email id , so you must capture those.
