Google Hangouts is a way for staff to chat with each other. Within Google Hangouts is a feature called Google Meet. This allows for video conferencing. This is the approved platform at this time (3/30/20) for live student instruction. We all know that this is changing frequently, sometimes daily. We will keep you informed. You can use Google Meet to provide instruction with your students LIVE. You can also use the record feature to create pre-recorded instruction. Google Meet also offers live captioning which is a way to capture your speech and allow it to be transcribed for people who are deaf or hard of hearing or to allow for Universal Design of Learning.
