A Tentative Agreement is a proposed article that is agreed upon and signed by both parties. Signing does not denote a final agreement, but a preliminary understanding between the representatives until all proposed articles have been initialed and our complete Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) has been ratified. Ratification refers to being voted on and passed by the members.
All articles that have been tentatively agreed upon can viewed below.
The EEC strives for transparency and open communication with our fellow educators. Survey data and information gathered from our 4 input sessions were used to inform our bargaining priorities and construct these articles. These articles comprise part of our Collective Bargaining Agreement or CBA. Throughout the negotiation process they can change several times until an official agreement on each article is reached.
The tracker is what we use to keep track of each and every article that is passed between EEC and AEA. Green articles have been agreed upon by both EEC and AEA, a blue article means that there is a joint task force between EEC and AEA to constructively work together, in this case to create an educator evaluation system, and yellow means we are still actively bargaining that article.
