DAY 1 - 2

• • Take attendance (correct nicknames/names)

  • Seating Chart

  • Enroll in Google Classroom

  • Pass out Class Syllabus and Class Supplies needed.

    • Need to have parents fill out the Syllabus agreement form that is on Google Classroom.

  • Go over Class Syllabus and Class Introduction Prezi

    • Talk about positive attitude. Your attitude will affect your happiness at school.

  • Watch video: TED TALK Marshmallow Challenge

    • Discuss the video and how things are going to be different and we need to be flexible, we need to patient, we need to kind and empathetic.

  • Explain:

    • Lost and Found, Top Tray, Clean/Dirty Trays, importance of assigned seats, potential to take breaks, plenty of time to complete work.

DAY 3 - 4

• • Remind to have parents fill out the Syllabus agreement form that is on Google Classroom.

  • Remind, Folder, Pencil, Paper Check next week.

  • Skyward App for lunch?

  • Go over and explain mrpaxton.com website.

  • Introduce Google Classroom

    • Go over Google Classroom Areas (Stream, Classwork, People, Grades, To-Do)

  • Student Interest Inventory Activity

  • Set up GoGuardian

  • Change Google Profile Picture (via gmail settings).

DAY 5

• • During attendance, do a "NAME CHECK" make sure I have the name and spelling that they go by.

  • Remind to have parents fill out the Syllabus agreement form that is on Google Classroom.

    • • "Exempt" on skyward means turned in

  • Explain that "returned on Classroom" means I put the grade in Skyward.

  • Remind, Folder, Pencil, Paper Check next week.
