  1. Log in to the EGUSD portal using your district credentials

  2. Click on the "+" to access the App Library

  3. Click on "Elk Grove Unified School District"

  4. "Add" Pearson Realize Demo

  5. You will need to select "California Experience Chemistry"

Now, you will have an icon on your portal to access the demo account in one-click.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do teachers and students access Savvas (formerly Pearson)?

Both teachers and rostered students can access the Pearson platform via the EGUSD portal. Teachers will need to "assign" the Realize CA Chemistry content to their CP Chemistry sections.

Students do not need to know their Realize login or password since it is all done through Clever, a single sign-on provider. They just need to log in to their EGUSD portal to access it.

Which courses have access to the new Savvas curriculum?

Chemistry, Culinary Chemistry, Chemistry in the Earth System, Chemistry in Biotechnology, Chemistry and Agriscience

Is there a teacher's manual?

Yes! Please contact your library media teacher (LMT) for information on how you can access print copies of the TEs.

Will students be getting textbooks or workbooks?

In 2020/2021, all students will receive a consumable workbook which includes the text and interactive pages.
