Field Trip Opportunity

Take your students to the

Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge

Is your school, youth, environmental, or other group interested in learning more about the wildlife, plants, habitats, and ecology of Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge?  Contact the refuge to check on program availability and reservation policies.  Refuges are wild places, and we want to teach you more about them! All field trips, for both naturalist-guided and teacher self-guided trips, are scheduled only via reservation in order to avoid conflicting groups using the site at the same time.  Field trips and site reservations are free.

Courtesy of the Friends of SLNWR, your class field trip transportation costs could also be FREE!  Complete this application to request funding for transportation.

To learn more about the Refuge and its educational offerings, including hosting the Nature Bowl, please contact Kaye Schwartz (info below).

When new opportunities are presented they will be posted here.
