Assignment 3

The Event scene project utilizes  slab construction methods  with an influence taken from the artist Jacob Lawrence and the style of Dynamic Cubism

This project embodies the influence of Bay Area sculptor Woody De Othello through his surreal clay sculptures taking the shape of household objects that appear to melt, sigh, and twist themselves into knots. Students are asked to take a similar approach to an object.

Ebitneyefa Baralaye is the artist of focus for the self portrait project which can be created in clay using a varitey of construction techniques.
