Welcome B Track Families!

My name is Kaila Armstrong and I am excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher for the 2019-20 school year!

I graduated from CSU Sacramento with a bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and a double minor in History and English. I recently went back to school and earned my master's degree in Teaching and Learning. I'm a firm believer that you can always continue to learn and grow.

I am a proud graduate of the Elk Grove school system. I attended Florence Markofer Elementary, Joseph Kerr Middle School and Elk Grove High School. I had amazing teachers throughout my educational journey and knew from an early age that I wanted to be an educator.

This will be my 7th year teaching in the Elk Grove Unified School District. My first two years were spent teaching 5th grade and the rest have been spent teaching 4th grade. I appreciate my experience in 5th grade because I know what my 4th graders will need in order to be successful in the school year to come.

During my off track time, my husband and I enjoy vacationing and spending time with family and friends. We have two furry family members - Harper, our dog and Willow, our cat.
