Time management tips:
Break assignments into smaller steps.
Making a plan will help prevent being overwhelmed and help you make realistic choices about how long your homework or project will take you.
Use a timer to get through hard assignments or through a chunk of an assignment.
For example, give yourself 10 minutes to work on math. After that, either change assignments, take a break, or continue.
Reward yourself with something small. Many teachers have a piece of candy for X papers system. It's okay to bribe yourself with a break or treat.
Use your phone!
Set alarms to remind you of things when you get home. For example, if you need to get the syllabus signed, set an alarm for 8 PM when you know your guardian will be home.
Use the calendar function in your phone to help keep track of deadlines and expectations.

Sticky Note Review
To review and interact with a text or material, use sticky notes to ask questions, make outside connections, summarize or draw a picture or your understanding. Each time you review, use a different color of sticky note.
