DELAC is the District English Language Advisory Committee. Sheldon will send at least one parent representative to the DELAC meetings. The meetings are in the evenings and occur about once a month. There are translation services and food provided (currently Zoom meetings). All community members welcome to attend.

The DELAC representative parent then reports back to Sheldon's ELAC team of parents, students, teachers, coach, and administrators. Each school in the Elk Grove Unified School District has a DELAC representative. Carlie Leon attends the DELAC meetings with the parent representative.
