Interested in praying during the school day? Sheldon HS nor the Elk Grove Unified School District’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) department wants students to miss class. According to FACE’s Welcome Team colleague Ali Benawa who spoke with an Islamic scholar and local imams, students who are seeking knowledge have the flexibility to perform their prayers at a later time. 

Reflection rooms are available during 1st lunch (room H13) and 2nd lunch (room 325) for those who would like to pray.
