It is important for students to understand their rights and needs, identify and access community resources, and build relationships that will help with strong post-secondary outcomes. This can be done by providing training and encouraging students to find, formally request, and secure the support and adaptations they need for education, training, and employment, and support students in participating in opportunities to develop their team and leadership skills.
