All East Greenwich Public Schools students have access to the use of a free Chromebook for distance learning. To date we have distributed more than 400 Chromebooks to more than 260 families.
Please note:
The Chromebooks are on loan and shall be returned when students return to school. More information will be forthcoming on this when appropriate. If your Chromebook is not working, please submit a Chromebook Support Request using the Google form below. Instructions will be emailed to you with information about scheduling the pickup. The exchange process is also listed below. If you do not have WiFi access at home, we may be able to help. Please contact us using the Chromebook Support Request Form or via email to chromebooksupport@egsd.net with the Subject: WiFi.
Acceptable use of school district devices:
The student, teacher, and staff use of school district devices e.g., Chromebooks, regardless of location – home or school, is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy (10-110), the Internet Safety Policy (10-210), school rules and regulations, and the student and staff behavior code.
