Hello! I am Mrs. Kamen and I am the new music teacher!

A little about myself: I have a wonderful husband named Theodore and two cats named Galaxy and Hydra and two dogs named Pixel and Asta. My favorite hobbies are enjoying my nights outside, reading a good book, composing and playing music, and watching movies. I graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Music Education with a minor in Instrumental music and psychology. I am currently working on my Masters of Music Education: Emphasis on Elementary.

I am excited to start the new year at South Point! My hope is for all children to be able to participate in music and have fun doing so. I believe that music is part of a well rounded education and I strive to create an atmosphere of positivity to help foster independent thinking, creativity, and excellence.
