Mrs. Samantha Dunham

School Counselor

Born and raised in East Greenbush, Samantha Dunham earned her Bachelors in Psychology from Siena College. From there she took time to work with students in a special education classroom where she found her passion for school counseling. She received her Masters from Sage Graduate School in 2015.


Outside of work Mrs. Dunham enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling to the beach and spending time with her family.


Mrs. Allison Milazzo

School Counselor

Allison Milazzo grew up in Holliston, Mass., and made her way to New York via Skidmore College. She graduated from Skidmore College with a BA in Psychology-Sociology and a minor in American Studies in 2007. Straight from there, she attended Sage Graduate School and received her Masters in Professional School Counseling.


Prior to working at Columbia she worked with students in grades K-12 at Bethlehem and Schuylerville, but has a passion for working with high school students as they set and work toward goals for their future. Ms. Milazzo enjoys spending time with her family, outdoors, hiking, and running.

Mrs. Sophia Reynolds

School Counselor

Ms. Reynolds is proud to have worked for the East Greenbush CSD for the past 17 years. After graduating high school, she pursued her Bachelors in Psychology from SUNY Albany and then went onto The Sage Colleges where she achieved a Masters in School Counseling.


Ms. Reynolds has had vast counseling experience working with students from diverse backgrounds. Prior to joining the District, she worked for Berkshire Farm and Parsons Child and Family Services.

Ms. Ashley Rickson

School Counselor

A graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh class of 2009, Ashley Rickson realized through an internship at a local high school that her passion was in school counseling. Immediately after graduating, she attended Sage Graduate School and received her Masters in Professional School Counseling.


Ms. Rickson has experience in both rural and suburban schools K-12. She loves spending time with her family and traveling.

Mrs. Kim Sabella

School Counselor

Mrs. Sabella graduated from Juniata College in central Pennsylvania earning her B.S. in Psychology. While there, she enjoyed many student clubs and activities, including competing on the women’s swim team. She also was able to investigate her many academic interests including natural science, art history and psychology. And as a senior, she completed her own undergraduate research project.


Immediately upon graduation, she enrolled in Sage Graduate School, where she worked as graduate assistant counseling academically at-risk students at the Sage Junior College of Albany. Upon earning her M.S. in Guidance and Counseling, Mrs. Sabella took a job in a suburban district outside of New York City before returning to the Capital Region and settling in at East Greenbush. In her free time, Mrs. Sabella enjoys traveling, downhill skiing, spending time with family and watching her daughter compete on the soccer field.

Ms. Becki Stevens (Ms. Becki)

Guidance Secretary

Ms. Becki is involved throughout the community​, teaching dance at a local dance studio as well as choreographing and co-directing the Goff Middle School Spring Musicals.

She enjoys spending time with her family and vacationing anywhere there is a beach.
