This is a true story that shares the experiences of a young Jewish girl and her family living in what was Czechoslovakia during World War 2. The book is intended for youth, but it does cover some serious topics (discrimination, forced relocation, war, the Holocaust) that you may want to discuss at home as well. The story is sad at times, but overall is a story of hope for the future.
