Welcome to 6.1 & 7.1, at Captain Nichola Goddard School! We are so glad to be your teachers this year. Ms. Varner will be teaching Grade 6 and 7 Math/Science. Who is Captain Nichola Goddard
Who is Captain Nichola Goddard
Our school was named to honour the life, service and sacrifice of Captain Nichola Kathleen Sarah Goddard, a devoted Canadian soldier, wife, daughter and friend. Captain Goddard was killed on May 17, 2006, in Afghanistan while leading a platoon under Operation Peacemaker and serving with Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.
Today we continue to live by the example left by Captain Goddard. We stive to show Excellence, Perseverance, Integrity and Courage in all that we do and we strongly believe in our school moto - Live Your Legacy.
