Hello grade 9s.
We will be working primarily in Google Classroom, however, I have made extra course materials available on D2L as well. You are welcome to do as much as you like from D2L, but I will let you know which items are formally assigned through google classroom.
Please make sure that you can log in to D2L Brightspace.

Dear Grade 9,
There isn’t much I can tell you at this point aside from keep being out in the world trying to find new things to experience a new ways to appreciate them. This is an opportunity for you to consider what is necessary for you to learn and live your best lives. I have seen and heard so many things that have interesting ties back to the topics we have talked about, both this year and last.
If I had to pick a project for you to work on right now I would recommend your music lyric analysis project and finishing To Kill a Mockingbird on Amazon prime TV and then beginning to create a comparison between Brian Stevenson and Atticus finch.Think about the discussions we have had about what makes a hero. Do some research on previous peoples writing about those characters and begin to think about how they’re similar and how they’re different. I hope you’re listening to the news... but not too much. Be informed, but not obsessed.
My wish for you is that you are finding ways to make learning fun, and if you find any let me know what they are! I’m sure you’ll find lots of examples of Hope and fear out there. I do miss you all and feel like a significant part of my day to day life is tied to the relationships I have with you all.
Until next time,
Your beloved Ms. Hart
