Wednesday Writing Activity: Guiding Questions

• What does the metaphor “Be Water” mean? Use examples from Bruce Lee’s speech in both videos.
• Re-read the letter on brain pickings and think of a time in your life when this might have come in handy to you. When was this time? Were you true to yourself or did you feel that being like someone else would lead to more success in this moment?
• In what area of your life do you feel confident in embracing your true self?
• "Your goals are a map for taking action, and once you are on your journey to your goals, you might realize that you want different things and decide to change course. That is why being fluid and not fixating on the goal is key because it is the journey to the goal that helps you cultivate yourself." What does this mean?
