Madison Area Technical College

Madison College is a national leader in community college education, serving over 30,000 students annually across 40 school districts at multiple regional campus locations in south central Wisconsin. We offer technical, liberal arts associate degrees, and short-term certificates in over 200 programs across 11 areas of study.  Our faculty-to-student ratio is 11-1, with teaching focused on hands-on learning and globalized curriculum. In addition 140+ transfer pathways, Madison College is the #1 source of transfer students to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With students from over 60 countries, we offer tuition between $6,000-$7,500 for international students. Most classes take place at our Truax campus, located adjacent to Madison’s International Airport and Lake Mendota. Students can participate in over 60 student clubs while learning in our state-of-the-art facilities, including an art gallery, STEM ingenuity wing, and a performing arts hall. The STEM Ingenuity Wing holds 62,000 square feet of automated manufacturing equipment, 3D printers, C-N-C simulations, and laser measuring machining devices.
