According to the Open Doors 2024 report, published by the Institute of International Education (IIE):

In the 2023/24 academic year, Paraguay had 642 students enrolled in higher education institutions in the United States.

Interest in studying in the U.S. has strengthened thanks to programs such as the Carlos Antonio López (BECAL)  and Fulbright-CAL scholarships, which have increased the supply of academic opportunities for Paraguayan students.
