According to the Open Doors 2024 report, published by the Institute of International Education (IIE):
10,120 Colombian students are currently enrolled in universities and colleges in the United States.
Colombia ranks 17th among the countries that send the most students to the United States.
The states that receive the most Colombian students are: Florida, New York, Texas, California and Massachusetts.
These data reflect the growing interest of Colombian students in accessing quality education and academic opportunities in U.S. institutions.
COLOMBIA'S IMPACT AT OUR FAIR
In 2025 the EducationUSA South American Fair in Colombia reached more than 1,900 students and featured the participation of 35 U.S. Higher Education Institutions.
