Foundation

Students will be introduced to two units - Lunar New Year and Numbers in Term 1. We will embark on a cultural journey with learning units on Chinese New Year and Numbers 1-10. 

Year 1 & 2

Students will be introduced to two units - Lunar New Year and Classroom rules and phrases in Term 1. We will immerse learners in a captivating fusion of cultures with units on Lunar New Year.

Year 3 & 4

Students will embark on a cultural adventure with learning units on Lunar New Year and Pinyin. We will explore the vibrant traditions of the lunar festival, and master the basics of Mandarin pronunciation using Pinyin. 

Year 5 & 6

Students will dive into Chinese culture with learning units on Lunar New Year and classroom phrases. We will discuss the key phrases and sentences used in the LOTE classroom.
