Staying Safe at Sovereign Hill

Coordinators are welcome to visit the museum in the weeks preceeding their school's program to conduct their own risk assessment. Please ensure you make contact with the bookings team on (03) 5337 1188 or email education@sovereignhill.com.au to arrange entry.
Our school uses student personal information as provided by their teacher to support participation in the Costumed School program, where permitted by law, as stated in the Schools’ privacy policy.
Our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students policy (see below) describes how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn.

Sovereign Hill Costumed School follows Covid safe measures as recommended by the Department of Education and Sovereign Hill Museum. These may include:
providing hand sanitiser in all Costumed Schools and changing rooms
ventilating Costumed Schools through open doors
providing air purifiers in changing rooms
encouraging students and visiting teaching to follow current health recommendations.
Please inform the Sovereign Hill Costumed School staff and Head of Learning should someone test positive to Covid-19 whilst at Sovereign Hill. Confidentiality will be maintained.
