Repeated addition is a multiplication strategy
Activity 1: roll two dice and record the multiplication sum
e.g 3 and 4 is 3+3+3+3=12
Do this 5 times
Activity 2: grab a handful of counters and make an array and use this to show the repated addition sum
The array to the right is 5+5+5=15
Activity 3: show the repeated addition sums for the sums below

3 X 7
10 X 2
