 Book review ~ Cyclone~

In the book "Cyclone," the author published the book in 2016, with their hard work of art making it interesting to read.

I would recommend this book for ages from 4-8 and year 5 or older because the book itself explores and teaches about nature, going deep about the environment and the devastating natural disaster. 

It's an interesting and powerful lyrical book with rhythm that tells the story about what happened in the 1974 Cyclone Tracy in Darwin. The book uses rhyming text and illustrations to depict the storm's power.  

I found this book because I love natural disasters, so I picked it and it became one of my favourite books so I recommend it to kids who love natural disasters . 

As a result, Bruce Whatley’s illustrations the story even further and deeper. His illustrations create emotion and sad moments which create a rhythm that reflects the storm's weather. Together, they created an emotional state of how dangerous Cyclone weather could be.

This book would receive a rating of  4.5 or higher because it mostly  handles the devastation of natural disasters, its graphics, and its  value as an educational story. Teaching Australian history and repeating its history. 

Furthermore, it tells the reality of  weather events in a way that educates. It is good  for conversations about safety, and community support, making it a great book to read.

Overall, "Cyclone" is both emotionally interesting and thoughtful, with a powerful natural event. It's learning could help children who love natural disasters.
