What you need to submit
A 2D top view of the residence showing the layout of the house and the internal dimensions of each room
Go to scenes and select top view, ensure you can only see the red and green axis
Use the dimension tool to measure each room. Create a group for the dimensions so that you can switch their visibility on and off.
Take a screenshot of the screen with the dimensions turned on and upload it your Google Site. Add a caption to identify it as the floor plan
Labelled elevations from all 4 sides of the residence
Go to scenes and select front view. Ensure that you can only see 2 axis.
Take a screenshot of your house from this view.
Add the screenshot to your Google Site. Label the elevation with the appropriate label, for example North/South Elevation
Repeat the above steps for the right, left and back view of the house.
A fly-through of the residence displaying the interior design and landscaping
Using the walk and scenes tools, save different views to show off the inside and outside of your house.
Change the settings of the scenes play through so that you are satisfied with the flow of the fly-through.
Take a screen recording of your fly-through. You may also wish to record a voice over to explain the key features of your house.
Upload it to your Google Site.
A copy of your downloaded SketchUp file
When you are ready to submit, download your SketchUp model to your computer.
Rename it to include your name and the assessment title. For example, John Smith Architectural Drawing.
Attach this file to the Google Classroom post called 'Assessment Notification' under the topic '4. Architectural Drawing'.
A link to your published Google Site
When you have uploaded the floor plans, elevations and fly-through to your Google Site, press publish in the top right of the window.
When the site is published, click on the 'copy published site link' button near the publish button near the top right of the screen.
Attach this link to the Google Classroom post called 'Assessment Notification' under the topic '4. Architectural Drawing'.
When you have completed all of the steps above, turn in your assessment.
